Our collection of African Tribal Art displays and defines the remarkable fruits of thousands of years of black African creative endeavour.

All presented objects were made by Africans for their own use, handcrafted from the beginning of the first millenium to the early middle of the twentieth century, before the commercial production of art aimed at the tourist trade.
